Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She is best remembered for her role as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama, and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). Also, she portrayed the lead role Jerrica Jem Betnton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She also has an older sister named Ally. As a child, Aubrey performed with the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to let her into the university for an additional entry after she was cast in 'Nashville'. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in made for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played Layla Grant, a major character from the Nashville second season drama. Peeples opened up about bipolar in a 2019 interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the most popular actors aged under twenty years old in September 2014.
